The Guides: Angels & Madonnas explores the enduring archetypes of the Madonna and the Angel as symbols of compassion, protection, intuition, healing, and spiritual guidance.
Featuring the expressive Madonna paintings of Mariana de la Vega and the luminous angelic works of Ambika Wauters, the exhibition brings together contemporary artists whose work explores themes of transformation, sacred embodiment, divine symbolism, and unseen connection. Their work is joined by a selection of contemporary artists chosen through a juried process, expanding on themes of transformation, sacred embodiment, divine symbolism, and unseen connection.
Curated in collaboration with artist and curator Karyn Holyk, The Guides invites viewers to reflect on the space between the visible and unseen, form and energy, devotion and awakening.
